Indiana Jones 5 Adds Logan Star Boyd Holbrook in Mystery Role

It looks like Indiana Jones 5 is on a roll as it keeps adding major stars to its lineup. The latest star to join the highly anticipated sequel is Boyd Holbrook, who had previously worked with director James Mangold on Logan.

Collider confirms that Holbrook is joining the cast of Indiana Jones 5. Shaunette Renée Wilson, who previously appeared in The Resident, has also been added to the ever-growing cast. Holbrook and Wilson's roles have not yet been disclosed.

This isn't exactly a surprise considering that we don't know who is playing who in Indiana Jones 5. We're sure that Harrison Ford is still playing Indy but the rest of the cast has been a mystery. Although Phoebe Waller-Bridge has been confirmed to play the female lead, we don't have enough details about the character just yet.

Additionally, there have been speculations that Mads Mikkelsen will portray the main villain in Indiana Jones 5. Nevertheless, we're expecting to get more details about the project when it finally begins production.

Indiana Jones 5 will be the first Indy movie that will not be directed by Steven Spielberg. However, he will still produce the sequel along with Kathleen Kennedy, Frank Marshall and Simon Emanuel. It was also confirmed that John Williams, who scored the previous four films, will provide the scoring for the flick.

Indiana Jones 5 has not yet been given an official title. However, this could be announced once the sequel begins production this summer. The fifth Indiana Jones film is currently scheduled for release on July 29, 2022.
