I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World New Trailer Reveals April Release Date, Opening Theme

As the Spring 23 season nears, more upcoming anime are getting release date announcements. The latest is I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World, which revealed its April release date via a brand-new trailer.

Along with its premiere, the isekai series also revealed more new cast members, as well as the opening theme by the Japanese band, Tsukuyomi.

I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World Anime Trailer, Opening Theme

The I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World anime’s 2023 release was announced back in November.

Initially, the anime revealed only a couple of details, including the initial list of cast members and its Spring 23 premiere.

Now, we have a new trailer that showcases more of the upcoming isekai anime, including some dynamic, action-heavy scenes featuring the main character, Yuuya Tenjou.

Along with new scenes, the latest trailer also previews the opening song entitled Gyakuten Geki (or Turnabout Drama in Japanese) by the band Tsukuyomi.

Tsukuyomi may not be a familiar band among anime fans given that the group only debuted properly in 2020. But this isekai series isn’t their first credit as Tsukuyomi also performed the ending theme of Birdie Wing: Golf Girls' Story.

Isekai anime get a bad rap for being formulaic, but I Got a Cheat Skill has a unique twist.

Specifically, the show’s main character is not trapped in another world. Instead, he can come back to the real world at any point.

I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World New Cast Members, Release Date

Previously, the initial cast members comprising well-known voice actors were revealed.

Now, another batch of voice actors has been revealed, many of whom are veteran VAs. They include:

• Ai Kakuma (Eris Boreas Greyrat in Mushoku Tensei) as Luna
• Rina Hidaka (Milim in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime) as Yuty
• Nao Toyama (Chitoge in Nisekoi) as Night
• Kazuhiko Inoue (Kakashi in Naruto) as Usagi
• Yuka Iguchi (Tsukihi Araragi in Monogatari) as Akatsuki

These voice actors join Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Kazuto in Sword Art Online) as the lead, Yuuya, and Akari Kito (Nezuko in Demon Slayer) as Kaori.

I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World will be released on April 6, 2023.

Right now, there’s no word yet on which streaming platform the anime will be streamed on outside Japan.
