Lots of anime announcements were made over the weekend, and among them is the release date of the I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World anime along with its main cast members. This info was released alongside the show’s teaser trailer.
The announcement was made recently, with the new trailer being shared online via the show’s official Twitter account and the Kadokawa Anime YouTube channel.
I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World – An Isekai Series With an Interesting Twist
In case you’re unfamiliar, this isekai anime series is officially entitled I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in the Real World, Too.
It’s based on the light novel series of the same name that's written by Miku and illustrated by Rein Kuwashima.
The series began as a novel series that was published on the Kakuyomu website, and it was picked up for light novel publication by Fujimi Fantasia Bunko, a publishing imprint under Kadokawa.

This new teaser features English subtitles, giving fans both in Japan and internationally a taste of what to expect in the upcoming isekai anime.
As for its story, the series follows Yuuya Tenjou, a boy who has been bullied all his life.
He soon comes across a door to another world. On the other side, he finds priceless artifacts and a world that’s filled with magic and monsters.
Unlike other isekai anime where the protagonist is stuck in the fantasy world, Yuuya can go back to the real world and bring whatever he wants back with him from this other world. Soon, his life on Earth changes.

I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World Anime Cast, Release Date
One of the biggest reveals about the anime is its cast, which features big-name voice actors.
For starters, the main character, Yuuya, is voiced by Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, a VA who’s pretty much a household name among anime fans.
Matsuoka has voiced a range of iconic anime characters, including Kirito in Sword Art Online, Souma in Shokugeki no Souma, Inosuke Hashibira in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, and Bell Cranel in DanMachi, among others.
Joining Matsuoka is Akari Kito, another well-known voice actress, as Kaori Houjou.
She is popular for voicing characters such as Nezuko in Demon Slayer, Kaho Hinata in Blend S, and Kotoko Iwanaga in In/Spectre.
Rounding out the main cast is Kaori Maeda as Lexia von Alceria. Maeda is the voice of Shizuku Osaka in Love Live! and Selka Zuberg in Sword Art Online: Alicization.
The I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World anime will be released in April 2023.
Currently, there’s no word yet on a specific release date or any info about its release outside Japan.
