How Strong Are the Eight Thunder Gods in Chained Soldier? Their Abilities Explained

Chained Soldier continues to introduce new characters with different abilities. Some of them are part of the formidable group known as the Eight Thunder Gods, who resemble humanoid shuuki. They think highly of themselves, but how strong are the Eight Thunder Gods in Chained Soldier?

Who Are the Eight Thunder Gods in Chained Soldier?

Aside from Aoba and her crew of humanoid shuuki, there exists another villainous group that watches over Mato.

They are collectively known as the Eight Thunder Gods, and they claim to be the leaders of all shuuki living in Mato. They think highly of themselves, to the point where they want everyone to worship them.

Their primary goal is to destroy humanity by manipulating shuukis and they also aim to destroy the Demon Defense Force, which opposes their group.

The members of the Eight Thunder Gods are Taikyoku, Shikoku, Jouryuu, Naruhime, Fukuma, Rairen, Jaku’un, and Kuusetsu.

How Strong Are the Eight Thunder Gods in Chained Soldier?

Each of the Eight Thunder Gods possesses extraordinary abilities that could easily defeat members of the Demon Defense Force on their own.

Here are the members of the Eight Thunder Gods, with their skills and abilities:

• Taikyoku leads the group, despite Shikoku's prominence in the anime. She can materialize and manipulate swords at will, and her fellow gods believe no human could ever vanquish her.
• Shikoku can manipulate black snakes as if they were extensions of herself, and she can boost them with a technique known as Dark Snake Prison. She also excels at dark-based abilities.
• Jouryuu is extremely strong and durable, with exceptional reflexes. With a single stomp of her foot, she can send shockwaves through the Demon Defense Force soldiers. She can also fly.
• Naruhime and Jouryuu can battle on equal terms. She can manipulate and wield lightning to her benefit.

• Fukuma is a shapeshifter who can transform herself into anything or anybody she wants. She can also clone herself and produce electricity.
• Rairen can control fire in addition to thunder. He can also charge himself to obtain more strength in battle.
• Jaku'un acts as the group's doctor. He specializes in medical arts and making curses.
• Kuusetsu can absorb living beings and take on their appearance. She can also phase through objects, make clones, and discharge beneficial fluids.

If Chained Soldier gets a second season, anime fans will have a better opportunity to see the Eight Thunder Gods in action.
