What Happened in Chained Soldier Season 1?
In Chained Soldier season 1, fans were introduced to an alternate world where portals leading to a deadly dimension called Mato, or Demon City, manifested throughout Japan.
Those who consumed the peaches harvested there acquired extraordinary powers, but this gift was exclusive to females.
When Yuuki Wakura, a depressed high school student, gets stuck in one of these gates, he is rescued by Kyouka Uzen, the leader of the 7th squad of the Demon Defense Force.
However, to Yuuki's surprise, instead of a simple rescue, Kyouka commands him to serve as her slave.
Thus began Yuuki and Kyouka's unique relationship. Throughout their journey, they encounter various characters who strengthen and challenge their new bond.
How Many Chapters Did Chained Soldier Season 1 Cover?
Chained Soldier season 1 covered up until chapter 44 of the manga's sixth volume. For reference, the Chained Soldier manga has published 15 manga volumes so far.
This means the first season has adapted less than half of the available content from the manga.
Meanwhile, volume 8 of the manga's English version is set to be released on July 23, 2024.

HIDIVE and the anime's official website have confirmed that Chained Soldier season 2 is happening.
To celebrate the announcement of Chained Soldier season 2, the staff released a key visual and a new teaser.
The key visual showcases a new character named Ren Yamashiro, who will debut in season 2.
As a key figure in the Anti-Demon Corps, Yamashiro will play an important role in the next season's upcoming events.
When Will Chained Soldier Season 2 Be Released? Our Predictions
The official release date of Chained Soldier season 2 is yet to be announced. Since the new season has just been confirmed, season 2 will likely start production soon.
