Thor: Love and Thunder marks the debut of Jane as the Mighty Thor which surprised the God of Thunder as his former lover takes on a new mantle of being the newest superhero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Strange enough, the Mjolnir is back to existence after Hela broke it and many are wondering how it was re-forged.

How Did Jane Re-forge the Mjolnir in Thor: Love and Thunder?
In Thor: Love and Thunder, Thor gets surprised to see his former lover, Jane, wield the Mjolnir and be the Mighty Thor. In a confident stance, Jane holds the Mjolnir in one hand with lightning coming through her.
However, the Mjolnir is no longer in perfect shape, having cracks where blue arcs of lightning are seeping through it, which only means one thing: it has been reforged.
It could be remembered that in Thor: Ragnarok, Hela singlehandedly destroyed the Mjolnir, much to the surprise of Thor and Loki and with the reforged Mjolnir, it is revealed to be the same hammer that Thor used.
In the comics, the Mjolnir has been destroyed one too many times and every time it is to be restored, it gets reforged in exchange for a great cost.

See, in the first Thor movie, Odin put an enchantment on the Mjolnir that whosoever is worthy enough shall have the capability to possess the power of Thor and wield the Mjolnir. Thor proved himself to be worthy, so did Captain America in Endgame.
For Jane, though, it is a mix of both Odin's and Thor's, or maybe just Thor's. When they were still together, it is revealed in Thor: Love and Thunder that Thor made the Mjolnir promise to protect Jane at all times.
In Thor: Love and Thunder, Jane had been diagnosed with cancer and it is the Mjolnir that called onto her. She willed herself to visit New Asgard and look at the Mjolnir and when the fragments are right before her eyes, it reformed on its own and chose Jane to wield it.
This may be a way of the Mjolnir to protect Jane especially with a life-threatening disease keeping her unsafe. With the powers of Thor, she becomes invincible, unstoppable, but it costs her a lot, too, as it worsens her cancer.
In the end, Jane didn't make it but her death made Thor aware that he needs to keep his heart open, that he has to choose love over everything.
