“Whosoever holds this hammer, if they be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor.” This has always been a constant enchantment on the Mjölnir and those who wield it must have passed the standard. Is Jane Foster under this or is there another reason she can lift use it in Thor: Love and Thunder?
Is Jane Worthy of The Mjolnir in Thor: Love and Thunder?
Odin's enchantment on the Mjölnir still lives today as long as the hammer exists. It is something that has been a consistent aspect of the Mjölnir that any character who gets to wield it is presumed to be worthy or something else.
In Thor: Love and Thunder, even if the Mjölnir was shattered by Hela in Thor: Ragnarok, the remnants of the hammer remained in New Asgard where it was placed in an exhibit as part of the tourist attractions of the place.
As for Jane Foster who is battling Stage 4 cancer, she felt the Mjölnir calling onto her and she went to New Asgard to pay a visit. When she did, the fragments shook and piece by piece, it came back to its original form even with the dents still visible.

To Thor's surprise, Jane is the new wielder of the Mjölnir and she doesn't even look or feel sick at all when using it. Later in the film, Thor found out about Jane's condition and realized that using the Mjölnir worsens her health, still, Jane wields it like she was born for it.
This brings the question of whether Jane is worthy. There is no doubt she can summon the power of Thor as seen in various circumstances but in Thor: Love and Thunder, even if she is worthy in the eyes of Thor, there may be something else that allowed her to use the Mjölnir even without being worthy.
Not saying that Jane isn't worthy but the point is that during the Korg's narration of the relationship of Thor and Jane, Thor himself unknowingly vested an enchantment on the Mjölnir.
In one scene, Thor talks to the Mjölnir where he asked the weapon to promise him to always protect Jane. Unknown to Thor who was wearing a hotdog sandwich at that time, the Triquetra symbol glowed, as if acknowledging the words of Thor.
With Jane in danger of death due to cancer, it is possible that the reason the Mjölnir called onto her and let her wield it is because of this enchantment from Thor. The Mjölnir takes away the pain of Jane when she is the Mighty Thor, however, her cancer spreads faster because of it.
Worthy or not, Jane made sure that she would not go down without a fight. Now that she is an Asgardian, she fights to the death, in hopes of stopping Gorr's sinister plans. In the end, she turns into gold dust like the gods when she passed away.
