Thor: Love and Thunder sets the God of Thunder in a new journey that will forever change the course of his life as he takes a totally different role aside from being a hero who fights all the time – being a father to Gorr's daughter but how did she get powers?
How Did Gorr's Daughter Get Powers in Thor: Love and Thunder?
In the last minutes of Thor: Love and Thunder, Gorr completed his quest on opening the Gates of Eternity which grants him one wish. The villain, instead of wishing the existence of the gods be eradicated, asked Eternity to bring back his daughter to life.
However, his life will not be for long and Gorr has the perfect candidate to take care of his daughter, Thor, who has in his arms the dying love of his life, Jane. She reminds Thor to keep his heart open and to always choose love.
What better way to do that than to be a parent of a child, right? The daughter of Gorr got a name fitting to remind Thor of Jane's final wish – Love.

See, Love is no ordinary child. Being born out of Eternity, it is shown that she possesses powers, too, when she darts through Thor's new pan while he cooks pancakes for her.
Love, born out of Eternity, is as much a child of the abstract being as a child of Gorr. Love is not technically Eternity's child, she just came from Eternity. Think of it as a surrogate. While not related by blood, being carried by Eternity granted Love powers.
Eternity is a cosmic and abstract entity who exists beyond the physical limits of life itself, an immortal who lives beyond time and space, who manipulates energy, matter, space, time, and magic. Everything that lives is connected to Eternity.
Since Love is not technically a child of Eternity, her powers are not of the full breadth as that of the abstract being. She can blast energy from her eyes, and it is also possible that she could manipulate time, matter, reality, magic, and space. Love is bound to be one of the most powerful beings in the MCU with this, even possible to be considered a Nexus being.
Played by India Hemsworth, it is no surprise that the chemistry between Love and the God of Thunder is unmistakable. It's a real father-and-daughter bond that everyone witnesses in the film.
It is expected that Love will return again in the MCU though it is not yet certain when or where. To be fair, the MCU could not ignore such a powerful being like Love, especially after the introduction of abstract beings like Eternity, The Living Tribunal, and Uatu The Watcher.
