There is little doubt that House of the Dragon has impressed viewers in the past seven weeks. The Game of Thrones prequel is still the most-watched new series, defeating even the Netflix heavy-hitter Dahmer - Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story.

Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story has been Netflix's biggest hit since Squid Game and considering it is being shown on the world's top streaming platform, that should make Dahmer the most-watched series right now. However, Parrot Analytics reveals that it still fell short even at 50.2 times the average series demand for last week (via TheWrap). The same report confirmed that House of the Dragon dominated with 52.8 times the average series demand this week.

Parrot Analytics' numbers take into account consumer research, streaming, downloads and social media, among other engagements. With that in mind, it's clear that House of the Dragon is burning all the competition away.

House of the Dragon premiered in August 2022 and immediately captivated audiences by taking them back into the world of Game of Thrones. Although the series takes place 200 years before Daenerys Targaryen's birth, the prequel provides the same intrigue, violence, and power struggle as the original show.

Dahmer - Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story premiered on Netflix a full month after House of the Dragon's first episode was dropped. The limited series follows the life of serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer who is played by American Horror Story alum Evan Peters. It also features stunning performances from Richard Jenkins, Molly Ringwald, Michael Learned, and Niecy Nash.

House of the Dragon Episode 7 is now available on HBO Max. House of the Dragon Episode 8 is titled The Lord of the Tides and will premiere on HBO on Sunday, October 9, 2022.
