CloverWorks scored a rare gem with Horimiya, an animated series of the high school romance of Kyouko Hori and Izumi Miyamura based off from a manga series of the same name. With the captivating love story of polar opposites and the catchy opening song that it has, Horimiya has been topping the charts every episode.
Kyouko Hori is a friendly girl admired in school for her intelligence but what everyone doesn't see is that she rarely has time to socialize outside her home as her parents are usually away for work and she has to care for her younger brother at home.
Izumi Miyamura, on the other hand, is a brooding otaku who prefers to stay on his own as he grew up as a loner, aside from enjoying his own company, Miyamura is also a student who struggles to keep up with academics leaving with g him no choice but to take things into his own hands as no one in class would take him for school work.
With the great opportunity both Hori and Miyamura had to find each other's paths and company, they get to know each other better and reveal the versions of themselves that they kept from the public eye. Having their true selves bare to each other, they found acceptance and soon, love.
Horimiya Episode 5 Recap
Entitled "I can't say it out loud," the title of the fifth episode of Horimiya speaks for itself.
It may finally be here, an affirmation of the relationship of Hori and Miyamura, but that is, if Hori's father doesn't stand in between them. Hori's father, Kyosuke, returns and asks Izumi is Hori's boyfriend. Although not directly saying it, Hori loves Izumi back.
Hori confirms their relationship through her actions. Now having the consent of her parents of having Izumi by her side, their relationship gets deeper as it can now be assumed that, to date, Hori and Izumi are dating.
Horimiya Episode 6 Where to Watch English Sub Online
Horimiya can be streamed online via Funimation and AnimeLab. All the episodes are released at a weekly interval. Hulu also simultaneously streams Horimiya.
All of the abovementioned streaming services offer an English sub of Horimiya. While it is not yet available on English dub and with no confirmation yet as to the same, an English subtitled version is available on Funimation, AnimeLab, and Hulu.
For a monthly rate of $5.99 or a yearly rate of $59.99, Funimation offers an earlier viewing of the anime in its roster, including Horimiya. For those who have yet to subscribe for a premium account, waiting is the key as all the episodes of Horimiya and all other anime would be available for free one week after being streamed to premium users.
Horimiya Episode 6 Release Date and Time
Episode 6 of Horimiya will be available for premium subscribers on February 13, 2021, although, for some regions, it would be on February 14, depending on the timeline. A sweet valentine's day treats, indeed, to have Horimiya released on the said date.
No need to worry for those who aren't subscribed for premium access as the sixth episode of Horimiya will be released the following week on February 21, 2021.
The time is fixed for either releases, mark your alarms as Horimiya will be released at 10:30 PM EST.
Horimiya Episode 6 Countdown
There are 6 days to go before Horimiya returns for premium subscribers. While it would take a long wait for those who are not yet subscribed, the story of Hori and Miyamura is surely worth the wait as their relationship takes a whole new level of love.
