Witch from Mercury Season 2 Trailer Reveals Opening Theme Singer
For the first season, Witch from Mercury tapped popular Japanese music duo YOASOBI to perform the opening song.
YOASOBI is a well-known group among anime fans, especially for their work on Beastars Season 2.
While the duo won’t be back for Season 2, the new trailer for the anime confirmed the new opening song artists.

Japanese artist yama is the opening singer for Season 2, with her new song slash being previewed in the latest trailer.
While yama is known for her upbeat song in Spy x Family, this new track has a more serious vibe.
Aside from Spy x Family, yama has also performed songs for other hit anime, including Ranking of Kings, the Urusei Yatsura remake, and 2.43: Seiin High School Boys Volleyball Team, among others.

The first season ended in a shocking fashion. Many fans believe that Suletta’s actions will permanently strain her relationship with Miorine. Not to mention that Delling Rembran’s status is still unconfirmed.
Now though, the synopsis for the second season pretty much spoiled some details.

It has been two weeks since the incident at Plant Quetta. Suletta passes her days at the school, anticipating her reunion with Miorine. Miorine, meanwhile, has stationed herself at the head office of the Benerit Group, monitoring her father's condition.
The two are about to face new hardships and pressing decisions. Each with her own feelings in her heart, the girls will confront the mighty curse the Gundam brings.
It’s confirmed that Delling Rembran is alive, and from the looks of it, Miorine may have to take over some of her father’s duties in the Benerit Group.
Plus, it seems that Miorine and Suletta’s relationship will not be over, though it will likely be strained moving forward.
Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury Season 2 will be released in Japan on April 9, 2023.
