At CCXP in São Paulo, Brazil, the first teaser for the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 finally arrived and it gives everyone a glimpse of what to expect for the last of the threequel. Along with it is the official poster of the movie, and the plot synopsis which teases the end of the team, and possibly an era in the MCU.
In the first look of the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 at CCXP, Rocket said, "Into the forever and beautiful sky," and that same sky is seen in the official teaser poster with the whole team on the wing of the Bowie with Star-Lord, Rocket, Groot, Mantis, Drax, Nebula, Kraglin, Cosmo the Spacedog, and 2014 Gamora.
Marvel Studios also released the plot synopsis for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3:
Peter Quill, still reeling from the loss of Gamora, must rally his team to defend the universe along with protecting one of their own. A mission that, if not completed successfully, could quite possibly lead to the end of the Guardians.
From the synopsis, itself, a new threat comes at the heed of the Guardians, a new mission that needs to be successful because it could lead to the end of the team, and many fans are concerned about one character possibly dying as the teaser shows Quill screaming in agony about something with a tube on.

Fans are already speculating that the scene shows Quill dealing with the death of Rocket who is in danger of dying, even having some back story of how he became Rocket, because usually, those who get a back story gets sacked in the end to make it more painful, and honestly, no one is really prepared for another one to bite the dust.
Also in the synopsis is Quill reeling about the loss of Gamora which sets Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 in the MCU timeline after Endgame and Thor: Love and Thunder, and the teaser shows 2014 Gamora having her own adventure, with the poster showing that she gets to reunite with the team.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 takes off to another adventure in theaters on May 5, 2023.
