George Clooney and Amal Clooney couldn’t be more in love. During a recent interview, the Ocean’s Eleven actor shared how his wife changed his perspective when it comes to having kids.
George Clooney said during his interview on the WTF With Marc Maron podcast that he and Amal have already been married for an entire year when they had a conversation about growing their family.
“She said, 'Seems like that luck should be shared with some other folks. And then I just said, 'Well, I mean, if you're in,' and she said, 'I think we should try.' I have to say it was very emotional because I really was convinced that wasn't my lot in life and was comfortable with that,” George recounted.
George Clooney Thinks It’s Time For Baby No. 3
Globe, in its Dec. 13 issue, claimed that George and Amal recently had another conversation about having a third child, and they are both on board with the idea.
“He never thought he’d say it, but a third baby is really appealing to George now. He gets a kick out of these kids and they fill his life with so much joy,” an unnamed source said.
George Clooney Quitting Hollywood To Focus On Having Another Baby
The unnamed source added that George is also thinking about quitting Hollywood so that he could spend more time with his wife.
“He and Amal have done some serious negotiating during the lockdown and their separate lives deal is now a thing of the past, largely because she put her foot down. She demanded they stay together. George agreed. He wants to get back to Lake Como and London, plus wind down their work obligations and focus on family,” an unnamed source said.
George is, allegedly, bored with acting that’s why he wants to pursue other careers like producing and directing movies. These are things that he can do even when he’s not in Hollywood.
The actor allegedly has his wife’s support because the only thing that Amal wants is to have more time with her husband.
George’s recent revelation about his marriage and how Amal encouraged him to have children might have encouraged the publication to concoct a story about the couple possibly growing their family.
But it is important to note that the Clooneys did not directly say that they are trying to conceive another child.
George Clooney Reveals His Challenge As An Older Dad
Having two children – Alexander and Ella – is already a handful, and the Up In the Air actor has not shied away from admitting that. In fact, George previously shared what it’s like taking care of his kids considering that he’s a much older dad.
“They're funny, and they pull pranks on me. I just look at them thinking, I couldn't be happier and I couldn't be more surprised at how happy I am. The hard part is being 60 and just the sheer running around of it,” George said via People.

Amal Clooney, George Clooney Agreed To Lessen Their Workload
During his podcast interview, George shared that he and Amal also had a serious conversation about their future. And they both agreed to prioritize their family over their careers.
“We're working a lot, both of us. She's working a tremendous amount as well. I just said it doesn't mean we don't do a job because we gotta do a job. If you don't have a job, you're dead. We also have to make sure we're spending less time behind a computer or going on locations,” George said.
