Sansa is one of the characters to watch out for in the growing force of leaders in Game of Thrones. And while there's always the danger of author George R.R. Martin killing off characters that fans already get invested in, fans of the eldest female in the Stark clan can rest a little easier, at least for season 7.
At the BAFTA Awards 2017, HeyUGuys caught up with the star Sophie Turner and asked some noteworthy questions, which brought up an interesting bit of information at the 50th second in the interview, seen below.
"We're about to start shooting the next X-Men, we just finished shooting season 7 of Thrones, and I've got a couple of movies to do before X-Men starts, and then we go on to season 8! So I've got a busy year lined up."
That last tidbit suggests that she is far from hitting the bucket in the seventh season, though this is not surprising in the last. From my viewpoint, Martin may be remorseless in killing off his characters, but they don't really die without advancing the plot. One big proof: Khal Drogo's death has been the devastating event for any Dany and Drogo shippers (myself included), but we all know that was the first step towards reaching where the Mother of Dragons is today.
Turner also hints that she has been traveling quite a bit and all over the place. Might this suggest her own actions when it comes to Game of Thrones. We already know that a couple of sites last seen with Game of Thrones actors or filming sets include Iceland, Spain, and Titanic Studios in Belfast.
Game of Thrones will be back on HBO in summer.
