It looks like the rumors are in fact true. Pop star Harry Styles, who has long been rumored to appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has officially made his grand MCU debut in Eternals as Eros aka Starfox, the brother of the Mad Titan Thanos. Now, in case some of you may not be aware, the former One Direction member has already ventured into the world of acting and while he's just getting started to carve his Hollywood path, his list of acting projects has been quite impressive.

Variety's Matt Donnelly was among the first insiders to break the news on social media about Styles' casting, just hours after the latest MCU flick held its successful world premiere in Los Angeles. Turns out, Harry appears during the post-credits scene of the film but details about his involvement remain a mystery to the fans who weren't present during the screening.

As it stands, Harry's Eternals scene has yet to make its way on social media but after the MCU fandom learned about his supposed casting, the reaction has been mixed. Of course, most fans are only aware of the singer's work as a pop star and him being part of the billion-dollar franchise with little experience in acting was sort of an issue.

On the other hand, the "Watermelon Sugar" hitmaker's avid supporters are very thrilled after learning that their favorite 1D member is now MCU-bound. Check out some of the reactions here:

I gotta hand it to Kevin Feige and his team for they sure know how to attract fans from all platforms. To be fair, Harry is actually a pretty decent actor and you can't deny the fact that he has a lot of star power that would be beneficial to the MCU. I trust the powers that be because their track record of pleasing the fandom speaks for itself. Now, it'll be interesting to see what role Eros will play in the franchise now that his brother is no more.

Marvel Studios' Eternals will hit cinemas on November 5th.
