Elizabeth Olsen Wants to Utter Scarlet Witch's Most Iconic Line: "No More Mutants"

Aside from Benedict Cumberbatch's titular hero, fans are also excited to see Elizabeth Olsen once again as the newly developed Scarlet Witch, and how she plays a villain in the upcoming highly-anticipated MCU film, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

It's no secret that Olsen will play a prominent role in the Doctor Strange sequel. As evidenced from the recent teasers and TV spots, Wanda was spotted seemingly hellbent on finding her twins, attacking Kamar-Taj, and obviously consumed with the influence of the Darkhold.

Now, one of the strongest heroes in the MCU recently revealed one iconic line that she desires to utter one day, the "No More Mutants" line that is directly referenced from Marvel Comics.

In an interview with HeyUGuys, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness star Elizabeth Olsen was asked if she wants to say the iconic line at some point in the MCU.

“Yes, I mean, I hope so… I’m excited for all the crossovers in the future," Olsen responded. "I do think this film opens up lots of opportunities with the Multiverse. But yeah, the immortal words are [“no more mutants”]… I mean… I would love to be able to say them in some capacity to make it work for the MCU. Again, I never know what we’re doing next, so I’m always just kind of like in these interviews, just saying whatever sounds cool to me as well. But yeah, it’s not in anyone’s control besides Kevin Feige," the actress added.

Well, before we hear Scarlet Witch's iconic line in live-action, the X-Men must first debut in the MCU.

Luckily, the rights to the well-acclaimed franchise are finally turned over to Disney, which means that the X-Men might finally come to the MCU sooner than expected. If not in the Doctor Strange sequel, the X-Men could be included with Marvel's next phases, especially now that some franchises are wrapping up and the slate is extended until 2032.

If ever the X-Men made it to the MCU, Olsen's Scarlet Witch would be an interesting side character for the group, and if the crossover between X-Men and the Scarlet Witch finally happened, the "No More Mutants" line would definitely be compelling to see.

For now, we can catch up with Elizabeth Olsen's next journey as the Scarlet Witch in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, hitting theaters on May 4.
