The trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness finally dropped and it is as explosive as expected considering the tons of questions everyone would have by now. In one part, there was Wanda trying to weigh her actions in comparison to the titular hero that when he does something, he becomes a hero but for her, she gets considered as a villain. Is she one now and what did she do?
Doctor Strange 2 Trailer: Is Scarlet Witch a Villain Now? What Did Wanda Do?
During this year's Super Bowl, a lot of trailers were released along with one of the biggest games of the year but the one that really stole the show is the official trailer of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness where things really got out of hand as different scenes led fans to believe that there is more than what meets the eye.
At one point, there was Wanda Maximoff, seemingly doubting the process and asking Doctor Strange something about Strange breaking the rules and coming out as a hero but when she does that, she gets treated as a villain. She even said it’s something unfair. There is another scene when she met herself, possibly her from another universe, and she was on her knees crying.
Wanda is known to be one of the strongest characters in the MCU as of late, definitely in the ranks of the most powerful that even Doctor Strange recognizes that he needs her help with the multiverse breaking apart. She has powers beyond others and she could bend reality at will. Agatha called her the Scarlet Witch, forged and destined to destroy the world, even having a whole chapter dedicated to her in the book of the damned.
With her capacities almost in full range, if Wanda were to be a villain, she would be a hard one to beat. She has toughened up since the last time everyone saw her, even more after the events of WandaVision. Still, she seems to be on the same side as Doctor Strange. Does that mean she remains on the good side or will she be taken over a dark path?
All these would be revealed in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, coming in theaters on May 6, 2022.
