Elizabeth Olsen on X-Men and Scarlet Witch Crossover: "If We're Bringing X-Men back, I'll Wanna Be There"

[SPOILER WARNING]

Marvel had always teased Wanda's power throughout the Infinity Saga, but the Multiverse of Madness shows a side of the character we've never seen before. Driven under the influence of the Darkhold, Scarlet Witch easily defeated Doctor Strange, nearly destroyed Kamar-Taj, and killed every member of the Illuminatti, including their leader, Professor X.

Now that the Scarlet Witch had faced off against the leader of the X-Men, fans have always wondered if other X-Men characters stood a chance to defeat the most powerful character in the MCU.

In an interview with CinemaBlend, Olsen was asked about the debut of the X-Men in the MCU. "No, you just got me excited!" Olsen replied. "I don't really know what I do next after this movie. I don't really know. I wanna know what fans want and what the ideas are. But I guess you just said it, if we're bringing X-Men back, I'll wanna be there!"

Olsen added, "I have no actual plans yet. I am very excited to talk with Kevin [Feige] about that at some point."

After what the Scarlet Witch did to Professor X, somebody from the X-Men must at least challenge Wanda into a satisfying duel after she easily killed X-Men's Professor X. Can you imagine a Scarlet Witch and Dark Phoenix duel in the future?

Nevertheless, it's no secret that the X-Men might finally come soon to the MCU, and Wanda is the perfect fit to crossover with the renowned group of mutants. In Marvel Comics, Wanda's father is Magnetto, which is why she is tied to the X-Men. Aside from that, with Wanda's vast and versatile powerful abilities, she might conjure the X-Men herself or stumble upon them in another universe.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is now showing in theaters worldwide.
