Will There be a Doctor Strange 3 Movie?

Living up to its promise of being one of the biggest events of the year, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness easily slips into the top films of 2022 and with such a successful release the next question is, will there be Doctor Strange 3 or a next solo movie of the titular character?

Will There be a Doctor Strange 3 Movie?

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness expanded everyone's knowledge of the multiverse in a larger scale than that of Loki and it led to a wide array of possibilities for the future of the MCU with the introduction of various heroes such as Mr. Fantastic, Black Bolt, and Professor X.

This opens the door for Fantastic Four, Inhumans, and X-Men to come into the franchise which has been much-awaited by the fans since the acquisition of Fox by Disney.

However, for the titular character himself, the question on whether he will have a next solo film remains hanging on the balance. Surely, Doctor Strange would appear in the next Marvel films but it hits differently when a character banners his own titular movie.

To date, there are a lot of MCU projects on the line but there is no showing whether there would be a Doctor Strange 3.

Doctor Strange is expected to be the new anchor of the MCU after the death of Iron Man. He has been there for almost every member of the future of the franchise like Spider-Man, Wanda Maximoff, and now, America Chavez.

He becomes stronger, too, as he finally got the Eye of Agamotto which gives him the power to see beyond the naked eye. The Eye sees and shows the truth and it casts an all revealing light which shows what happened to get to the real truth. It cannot be used for evil. With this, the character of Doctor Strange just grows more in the franchise.

This would not be the last time we’ll be seeing Doctor Strange and hopefully, he gets a threequel, too, like that of the original Avengers.
