Elizabeth Olsen Addresses Wanda’s Return on Katherine Hahn's WandaVision Spinoff

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness sees Benedict Cumberbatch's titular hero in the chaotic disturbances of the multiverse. Alongside Cumberbatch, Multiverse of Madness also highlights Elizabeth Olsen as the mighty Scarlet Witch, bringing extreme mayhem not just to Doctor Strange, but to other heroes across different universes.

Disney+'s WandaVision brought an intense character development for Wanda Maximoff, however, not in a pretty positive way. At the end of the series, Wanda finally got her hands on the Darkhold, a powerful book that contains a lot of black magic spells but corrupts whoever reads it. And in the Doctor Strange sequel, it appears that Wanda ultimately transformed into a ruthless witch.

[SPOILER WARNING]

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness centers with Wanda's transformation as the Scarlet Witch, antagonizing Cumberbatch's titular hero hunting down MCU Newcomer America Chavez, who has the ability to travel to different universes. Wanda wants to capture Chavez to absorb her powers desperately trying to get to her illusion-made twins.

Now that fans witnessed how much powerful the Scarlet Witch is in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, fans are now wondering what's next for the most powerful character in the MCU, specifically if Wanda will return in the WandaVision spinoff, Agatha Harkness.

In an interview with Good Morning America, Olsen was asked whether she would return to Hahn's WandaVision spinoff. "I mean, I would do anything with Hahn," Olsen responded. "I mean, no, I'm not appearing on it — not as far as I'm aware of. But I love that woman so much. So fun, that entire show was just filled with lots of joy, it was great."

Olsen added, "I hope [Marvel Studios president and producer] Kevin Feige is watching."

With how Multiverse of Madness concluded, there's certainly much more to unravel with the Scarlet Witch. And Marvel Studios won't just kill Wanda without giving her the redemption arc that she deserves. If ever the Scarlet Witch returns, she could play a prominent role in the X-Men’s debut in the MCU, especially the “No More Mutants” storyline.

Aside from that, rumors swirled that Elizabeth Olsen recently signed a 7-year contract extension with Marvel Studios, and a Scarlet Witch solo film is already in talks.

We can catch Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, now showing in theaters worldwide.
