Recently speaking at the WGFestival 2022 event (via Netflix), the Duffer Brothers revealed that Stranger Things’ Season 4 production delays due to COVID protocols has caused them to rethink their initial Stranger Things Season 5 outline. Additionally, the showrunners also thought of tweaking some of the elements in their Season 5 based on fans and fellow collaborators’ comments, including the show’s ending.
