David Harbour has been a mainstay in the series since the start as Jim Hopper who started as an officer of Hawkins to being Eleven's adoptive father. After the successful release of the fourth installment of the show, he predicts when Stranger Things Season 5 will come out.
Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 2 came out recently with the final stand-off between Eleven and Vecna while the whole world depends on whoever wins between the two of them. Unknown to Eleven, her adoptive father, Jim Hopper is still alive on the other side of the world.
Joyce and Murray flies to Russia while Enzo, a Russian prison guard, aided Jim's escape. There, they found out that the Russians are keeping creatures from the Upside Down which broke loose in the end. They broke out then broke in again to kill the monsters.
Hopper even had his moment where he fights a demogorgon with a sword. Medieval but effective, Hopper came out victorious and in the end, he gets reunited with Eleven after getting some help from the colleagues of Doctor Owens to get home.
As the Upside Down bleeds into Hawkins, Hopper, Eleven, and the rest of the characters now face the greatest risk the town will ever face and this is all going to be seen once Stranger Things Season 5 comes out. However, there is no release date yet for the fifth installment of the series.

Speaking with GQ UK, David Harbour shares his own prediction of when Stranger Things Season 5 will come out based on their tentative schedule, "I think we'll [shoot] next year. They're finishing writing it this year, and they need to prep and stuff, so hopefully it'll be this year."
Harbour added, "I think that's the plan. So it'd probably come out mid-2024, based on our track record."
Comparing the releases of the first four seasons of the show, the usual length of time between each release is more than a year but less than two, only the last installment took longer because of the ongoing pandemic. It's safe to say that waiting for Stranger Things Season 5 would be as long as the first releases.
It has been confirmed that Stranger Things Season 5 will be the last one for the beloved series and while it is bittersweet to say goodbye to one of the shows that really made it big, endings are what makes it more precious.
Stranger Things Season 4 Volumes 1 and 2 are now streaming on Netflix. There is no release date yet for Season 5.
