The update recently went live when Dragon Ball revealed some of its upcoming merchandise, and it was there UDM Burst unveiled two sets focused on Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. The merchandise ad features characters like Goku, Vegeta, Gamma 1, and Gamma 2 among others, but if you look closely at the figurines, you will notice Gotenks is shown.

However, this collection doesn't feature the original form of Gotenks, but instead it features one of the failed fusions, so it's Fat Gotenks featured here. This fusion looks the same as the one Goten and Trunks formed by accident back in Dragon Ball Z's Buu Saga.

The confirmation of Gotenks's appearance shouldn't surprise fans who have already seen the latest poster for Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, which featured teenaged Goten and Trunks in their fusion dance pose. The duo will most likely help the other Z-Fighters in the battle against the Red Ribbon Army and their new androids, Gamma 1 and Gamma 2.
