Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero Reveals First Look at Goten and Trunks


It's been a long time since we've seen Goten and Trunks in the Dragon Ball franchise, but Dragon Ball Super is bringing them back in the upcoming movie, Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, and now, Toei Animation has shared our first look at what they will look like in the highly-anticipated anime movie, and we get to see them as teenagers.

As you can see below, Goten and Trunks have grown up well, and it looks like they will do the fusion dance again to fuse into Gotenks. The youngest son of Goku and the son of Vegeta have been best friends since Dragon Ball Z's Buu Saga, and it's nice to see the duo return to action in the upcoming film.

This look was first revealed in the latest poster for Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, which also gives us a new look at Bulma, Krillin, Android 18, Gohan, Goku, Piccolo, Pan, and members of the Red Ribbon Army, including the new androids, Gamma 1 and Gamma 2.

Toei Animation has yet to reveal what roles Goten and Trunks will play in the story that will focus on the conflict against the Red Ribbon Army, but it looks like the pair and the rest of the Z-Fighters will have more time to showcase their powers while Goku and Vegeta are taking care of matters away from Earth.

Fans are excited to see the grown-up Goten and Trunks in action, and now, we're wondering what the grown-up Gotenks will look like when they fuse together.

Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero is set to release in Japanese theaters on April 22, 2022. It was also announced that the movie is releasing in North American theaters this summer, and expect other regions to get official release dates soon.
