Dr. Stone Artist Boichi Announces New Food Essay Manga Zessan Sekaimeshi


The Dr. Stone manga might be over but that doesn't mean Boichi hasn't been busy. The South Korean artist has just announced a new food essay manga Zessan Sekaimeshi that will be launched this month!

Boichi's new manga is titled Zessan Sekaimeshi: Tabereba Konoyo no Subete ga Wakaru (Amazing World Food: Understanding Everything About This World Through Eating) and will take on a subject that is very different from his most recent work. The new title will be featured in Kodansha's Morning magazine Issue #19 which will be released on Monday.

Boichi, whose real name is Park Mu-jik, started out working on manhwas before turning to manga. He is known for his works including Sun-Ken Rock, Trigun: The Lost Plant, and The Space Between. Boichi also illustrated the manga adaptation of One Piece Novel A titled One Piece Episode A, which will be released as a solo volume later this year.

His best-known work is on Dr. Stone which was a collaboration between Boichi and Riichiro Inagaki. The manga recently concluded but the franchise is set to move forward with new projects. In addition to the third season being confirmed for a third season, the anime is getting a TV special titled Dr. Stone: Ryusui which will focus on the character Ryusui Nanami.

But when exactly are we getting Dr. Stone Season 3? The anime is currently in production and there haven't been any updates about the third season. However, there is a good chance that we will be getting a key visual and teaser in the next few months. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
