Jujutsu Kaisen's latest episodes feature a devastating fight between Megumi and Toji Fushiguro. But does Megumi know that Toji is his father? Here's everything you need to know about their relationship!

What Is Megumi's Relationship With His Father Like?
Megumi only has a vague impression of his father. Toji Zenin was happy with Megumi's unnamed mother for a while, even taking her surname, Fushiguro.
After her death, however, Toji returns to his previous cold and calculating ways, and he plans on selling Megumi to the Zenin clan, who would want to make use of his coveted cursed technique.
In the Hidden Inventory flashback arc, Gojo kills Toji. Before dying, the assassin tells his opponent about the plan to sell the young Megumi to the Zenins.
Instead, Gojo becomes Megumi's guardian and offers to train him, to which Megumi agrees, provided that his sister, Tsumiki, will also have a happy life.
Megumi presently shows no signs of caring about his father's identity. It's presumed that they never really bonded and that Megumi only knows that his father left when he was young.
Does Megumi Know Who Toji Is During Their Fight?
Although he was a child when his father got killed, Megumi is unexpectedly called to fight him during the Shibuya Incident without knowing who he is.
After a seance goes wrong, Toji is reincarnated as a bloodthirsty killer who compulsively seeks the strongest person and forces them to fight with him.
While Megumi is caught up in a fight against the curse Dagon alongside Nanami, Maki, and Naobito, Toji appears and defeats Dagon.
He then singles out Megumi, forcing him out into Shibuya. Megumi realizes that this foe is too much for him.
After a violent clash, Toji asks his name and is satisfied to hear that Megumi still goes by Fushiguro.
Content that his son turned out okay, Toji stabs himself in the head, ending his short, second life.
Will Megumi Ever Find Out About Toji?
During their fight, Megumi doesn't know that Toji is his father, and sadly, he never gets to find out the truth.
If he and Gojo reconvened, they would have likely pieced it all together, but they never get the chance.
Given the latest updates in the Jujutsu Kaisen manga, Megumi is unlikely to ever learn the truth about Toji.
This is understandable since the shounen anime always focused on action before anything else.
But Megumi is such a stoic character and it would be interesting to see his reaction upon learning that he fought his father.
