Falin is also a magic user just like Marcille, although she acts as a support for her fellow party members.
Her specialty is gnome-system magic, which allows her to provide reinforcement and recovery.
She can also use the power of exorcism in addition to coordination magic such as teleportation.
Falin's Heroic Sacrifice in Delicious in Dungeon Episode 1
The pilot episode of Delicious in Dungeon highlights what happened to Laios and his party members when they confronted the Red Dragon for the first time, and tragically, one of them did not return to the surface.
The Red Dragon devoured Falin, Laios' sister, after she used teleportation magic to spare Laios and the rest of the group from the same tragic fate.
This dreadful event drives the plot of Delicious in Dungeon, with Laios attempting to find a way to save his younger sister before she becomes a goner.
Together with Marcille and Chilchuck, Laios returns to the dungeon and meets Senshi, a dwarf who's knowledgeable about monster cuisine.
So, Does Falin Die in Delicious in Dungeon?
After killing the Red Dragon, Laios discovered his younger sister's remains, as well as the remains of several other creatures.
It was a heartbreaking discovery, but Laios will not give up on Falin, and neither will Marcille, who wants to see her again at any cost.
To revive Falin, Marcille and Laios help each other, while Senshi and Chilchuck are in shock because they can't believe what's left of Falin. No one can recognize Falin in her state, since all that's left are her bones.
Marcille assembled Falin's skeleton, while Laios removed all the extraneous bones in sight. They both successfully arranged Falin's skeleton from head to toe, as if they were playing a puzzle game. Yikes!
Marcille then uses resurrection magic to successfully raise Falin from the dead. They had no idea, however, that Marcille's magic spell had also joined Falin's soul with that of the Red Dragon.
Sissel Turns Falin into a Chimera
Following the death of the Red Dragon, the mad magician Thistle/Sissel appeared before Falin and her friends.
He was incredibly mad at Falin and the others for killing the Red Dragon, who was one of the creatures he ordered to find King Delgal.
Since the Red Dragon and Falin's souls were combined due to Marcille's dark magic, Sissel turned Falin into a chimera instead.
He orders her to find King Delgal on behalf of the Red Dragon, resulting in her wreaking havoc against Laios and the others as the story progresses.
