Sissel was formerly regarded as a hero who protected the Kingdom of Golden Country from natural disasters, sicknesses, and sudden death, but as the people remained deep within the dungeon, they got increasingly unhappy with his conduct.
With Thistle now filled with darkness, he forbade anybody, including King Delgal's son, from attempting to return to the surface, arguing that they would perish without the dungeon's power.
