Delicious in Dungeon fans are wondering about the age of Marcille, especially in light of the anime’s eighth episode, which showed an intriguing flashback.
Age is an interesting topic in the series, considering how many different races there are in the anime.
As elves are a long-lived race in pretty much all fantasy titles, some fans think that Marcille may be the oldest in the party.
What’s clear is that she’s not the youngest, as confirmed in one of the anime’s earlier episodes.

The Oldest and Youngest Characters in Laios’ Party
While there were originally six members, Laios’ party is now down to four. Of the members, Marcille may seem the oldest given that she’s an elf. After all, other anime elves like Frieren have been around for a thousand years.
That is not the case for Marcille. The oldest member of the Delicious in Dungeon party is actually Senshi. Even though dwarves don’t live as long as elves in fantasy, Senshi is the oldest of the quartet at 112 years old.
This makes sense considering not only Senshi’s appearance but also the fact that he’s the most experienced in the party when it comes to survival.
As for the youngest, Chilchuk seems to be it at first. Upon Marcille and Senshi pressing to know his age though, Chilchuk reveals that he is 29 years old. He also reveals that he is married.
Upon hearing this, Laios calls Chilchuk with an honorific, indicating that he’s the youngest in the party while Falin is not around. In the manga, Laios is revealed to be 26 years old.

What Is Marcille's Age in Delicious in Dungeon?
As for Marcille, the flashback during her academy days showed her to look a bit younger, but not as young as Falin, who looked clearly in her teens. This has resulted in many fans wondering how old Marcille is.
While not revealed in the anime yet, the manga revealed that Marcille is 50 years old. This is nearly double Laios’ age, but still pretty young for elf standards, not to mention that she’s less than half of Senshi’s age.
Even though she’s still fairly young for an elf, it’s clear that Marcille is an incredibly talented mage. After all, this was proven in the recent flashback where she was confirmed to be one of the top students at the academy.
Marcille and the rest of the party will continue their adventures in Delicious in Dungeon episode 9, which will be released on Netflix next week.
