Doctor Strange May Feature Another Planet, Teased by Tilda Swinton

Reality- and time-bending may not be the only mystical things we'll be seeing in Doctor Strange. There will also be some traveling that's going to happen—and it involves showcasing another planet apart from Earth.

During a movie promotion event (via Comicbook.com), Tilda Swinton, who portrays The Ancient One in the movie, mentioned that moviegoers will be treated to a possibly, ahem, alien planet.

Swinton revealed that her children were part of the production crew—her daughter in the costume design and her son in the art department—and her son had mentioned creating a planet for the set.

"My son, we had this amazing moment one day when I met him for lunch one day in the canteen and I said, ‘What did you do this morning?' and he said, ‘Made a planet!' It's a planet that, I've now seen the movie, and it appears to great effect at the end of the movie."

This has already sparked speculations on how this will connect Doctor Strange to the existing Marvel Cinematic Universe. That teaser of a business card that Chris Hemsworth was holding in one of the set photos was already a shout-out.

But what if the new planet at the end of the movie may be Planet Hulk, a known part of Thor: Ragnarok? We'll have to see in the theaters on this one.

Doctor Strange will be out in theaters on Nov. 4.
