Doctor Strange New TV Spot Shows Funny Interaction with Cloak of Levitation

The latest Doctor Strange TV spot reminds us once again why it fits solidly into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

It's not thanks to the character or the story—we already knew that—but it's the humor. In the 15-second clip, we see how the Cloak of Levitation shows its affection for the Sorcerer Supreme.

Not only that, we also get to see Stephen Strange practicing his new mystical craft—and funnily failing at it. I've always pictured this particular movie to cast a heavier note, since Marvel already stated that it will have a different treatment compared to the other MCU films. But even though I've pegged the movie to be a little more serious, it seems that Marvel knows how to inject the fun into its every franchise.

That new clip is obviously far from satisfying, so get a load of some more other scenes from the movie. It still features a lot of the mind-bending scenes and overturning buildings, but we see a lot more of Mads Mikkelsen's villain. Here, even Kaecilius gets to offer a bit of humor.

A villain who offers a good nudge on the funny bone, who knew? Only with Marvel.

Doctor Strange will be out in theaters on Nov. 4. It stars Benedict Cumberbatch as the titular doctor, Chiwetel Eijiofor, Tilda Swinton, Rachel McAdams, and Mikkelsen.
