Doctor Strange 2 Star Elizabeth Olsen Teases Fans to Prepare for Jump Scare Moments

With only a few days left before the arrival of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness in theaters, a new featurette has been dropped for the upcoming sequel on how the vision for the movie is mind-bending. In the clip, the star who plays Wanda Maximoff/ Scarlet Witch, Elizabeth Olsen, teases the fans on what to expect in the film: prepare for jump-scare moments.

In the featurette, Elizabeth Olsen praised the director of the movie, Sam Raimi, for his special touch on the film, “Sam’s become known for this terrorizing cinema experience. He’s creating as much tension as possible for the audience, just ready for them to have that jump scare moment.” In various teasers, there is a touch of horror in the upcoming sequel and this may be what Olsen is pertaining to.

Even with the PG-13 rating of the movie, Sam Raimi still got the chance to include some horror elements and this is where he is an expert. No matter what the limitation is, he could inject these scenes and make it cohesive with the rest of the materials. Sam Raimi, after all, has history with being in the horror genre.

Other teasers show Scarlet Witch with blood dripping on her face, that, in itself, is horrifying. Add to that the footages of Doctor Strange being a zombie, Gargantos wreaking havoc in the city, and so much more.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is the sequel of Doctor Strange who opens the doors between the different universes in existence after he casts a forbidden spell that he crafted using his powers to manipulate time and space.

Facing the consequences of his actions, together with the current Sorcerer Supreme, Wong, and the most powerful Avenger, Scarlet Witch, Wanda Maximoff, they deal with one of the most powerful threats to ever arrive in the MCU.

Benedict Cumberbatch reprises his role as Doctor Strange and he would be joined by Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/ Scarlet Witch, Benedict Wong as Wong, Xochitl Gomez as America Chavez, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Baron Mordo, and Rachel McAdams as Christine Palmer, possibly Clea, too. Sam Raimi sits on the director’s chair.
