Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness Drops Mind-Bending Trailer

Super Bowl 2022 is finally here and people are hyped up for the event because of more than just a football game. Super Bowl LVI also brings in a slew of new teasers for upcoming films and TV shows starting with Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and its mind-bending full trailer!

The Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness trailer opens with Stephen Strange admitting that he dreams the same dream every night. However, it gets worse as he reveals that a nightmare immediately follows it.

The Sorcerer Supreme later points out that he did what he had to do to save the world. Wong quickly tells him that he cannot control everything. After all, Strange opened a doorway to the multiverse and it is still unclear who or what will slip through. When Strange reaches out to Wanda Maximoff, she tells him that the multiverse is dangerous and he immediately agrees.

Karl Mordo also agrees but says that Strange's crime will not go unpunished. It is at this point that we see a shackled Sorcerer Supreme being brought in front of a mysterious figure who says that it is time to tell Strange the truth.

The Doctor Strange 2 trailer also offers our first glimpse at America Chavez interacting with the Sorcerer Supreme and joining the action. In addition to that, Wanda hints at Scarlet Witch turning into the bad guy. But who is the real villain in the Multiverse of Madness? The truth will finally be revealed this April.

Doctor Strange in The Multiverse of Madness is directed by Sam Raimi and stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Wong, Xochitl Gomez, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Rachel McAdams. The Marvel Cinematic Universe sequel will finally hit theaters on May 6, 2022.
