Doctor Strange 2: Bruce Campbell Finally Addresses Hilarious Cameo

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is finally out and fans are loving the latest Marvel Cinematic Universe sequel. After all, the film is filled with a lot of awesome cameos. However, the best one might be Bruce Campbell's hilarious appearance. Now, the Evil Dead star has addressed his small yet memorable role in the movie!

DOCTOR STRANGE 2 SPOILERS AHEAD!

In Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Stephen Strange and America Chavez end up on Earth-838 where Stephen learns how different (and similar) the universes can be. America points out that food like pizza is the same everywhere then gets stopped by a vendor claiming she stole his Pizza Poppa. To distract the man, Stephen puts a spell on him so he keeps hitting himself, assuring America that the spell will eventually wear off.

That self-slapping Pizza Poppa is none other than Bruce Campbell and fans were delighted to confirm his cameo in Doctor Strange 2. Not surprisingly, the Ash vs Evil Dead star had a hilarious reaction when his cameo was finally confirmed.

There's a good reason why Campbell is so happy to be in Doctor Strange 2. He had previously pointed out that he wasn't sure if the scene he filmed will actually be in the theatrical cut and was concerned that it would end up on the cutting room floor. Luckily, we got to see Campbell in the film not just once, but twice!

Bruce Campbell's cameo isn't exactly a huge surprise considering that he has always appeared in Sam Raimi's movies. With that in mind, we're looking forward to more collaborations between Campbell and Raimi in the future.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness also stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Wong, Xochitl Gomez, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Rachel McAdams. The film is now screening in theaters worldwide.
