After a sequel to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse was announced, it was revealed that the sequel will explore a romance between Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy, something that was cut from the first film. So, do Miles and Gwen end up together in Spider-Verse?
Due to Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse's cliffhanger ending, we cannot give an exact answer yet as to whether Miles and Gwen do end up together in Spider-Verse.
However, the events of Across the Spider-Verse show that Miles and Gwen may ultimately end up together.

What Happened to Miles and Gwen in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse?
It can be recalled that in the first film, while a romance was kind of teased between the two, Gwen emphasizes to Miles that she’s older than him by 15 months which is “pretty significant” to her. The two then agree to become friends.
In Across the Spider-Verse, we see more about Gwen Stacy’s story and how she no longer does friends after Peter Parker’s death. But things changed when she met Miles Morales.
At the start of the film, we see how Miles and Gwen miss each other. Miles draws Gwen, while Gwen always looks at her picture with Miles.
When they finally unite in Miles’ room, Gwen sees drawings of her and tells Miles that she missed him too. Miles then tells her that he thought he would never see her again.
The two then bond by swinging around the city. Thereafter, they go to a thinking spot and talk about telling their parents about their identities.
Gwen tells Miles that it’s great talking to him and that he’s the only friend she ever made after Peter died. Gwen says “You and me…” before Miles cuts her off and says “We’re the same… in the important ways.”
Gwen then tells Peter that in every other universe, Gwen Stacy falls for Spider-Man. Seeing that Miles moves his hand near hers, Gwen continues “And in every other universe, it doesn’t end well.”
Miles responds that there’s a first time for everything, and Gwen leans toward him.
Later on, the Spider-Society finds out that Gwen went to visit Miles, and Gwen explains that she just wanted to know how he was. It is revealed that Gwen went to Miles’ Earth to search for the villain Spot.
Gwen goes to Earth-50101 and Miles follows her. Later on, Miles saves the Captain of their earth. It is later revealed that in doing so, Miles disrupted a “canon event”, which is something that needs to happen to all Spider-People because that’s what connects them all.
After finding out that Gwen knew all about this, including the would-be death of his father, Miles feels betrayed by Gwen. Miles escapes through a teleporter that should transport a person back to their own dimension.
However, since Miles was bitten by an Earth-42 spider, he was sent to that Earth instead of Earth-1610. Thinking that Miles came back to Earth-1610, Gwen goes there, but she later realizes that Miles isn’t there.
Gwen talks with Miles’ parents and promises them that she would bring him back. She then forms her own team of Spider-People, which includes Peter B. Parker, Miles’ mentor.
This is where the movie ends and a title card appears which indicates “To be continued”.

Do Miles and Gwen End Up Together in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse?
While we do not have an exact answer yet due to Across the Spider-Verse’s cliffhanger ending, it is likely that Miles and Gwen will ultimately end up together.
Throughout Across the Spider-Verse, the romance between the two is clear. Miles’ mother seems to like Gwen. She says that Gwen seems to be a nice girl and encourages Miles to go after her.
Additionally, Earth-50101’s Spider-Man, Pavitr Prabhakar, keeps teasing the two about their “romantic tension” and how they have a “will-they-won’t-they” romance. He even tells Gwen that Miles must be in love with her.
And considering the ending of the movie where we see Gwen determined to get Miles back, it’s clear that Miles and Gwen will end up together in Spider-Verse.
