Diablo 4: Closed End Game Beta To Start For Select Long-Time Players

A lot of fans are already waiting for it but there are a select few who will get the chance to play the closed end game beta of Diablo 4 just before this year ends which would be for those who did so for a "long time" and by early 2023, Blizzard is hopeful that the public beta will come out.

To those who have been playing a lot of Diablo games since its inception, you might just be one of the lucky people who will be having the chance to play the Diablo 4 closed beta on November year as Blizzard revealed in a new blog post.

In the same post, those who played a "significant amount of time" for the end-games of Diablo 2: Resurrected, Diablo 3, or Diablo: Immortal may be given a chance to take part in Diablo 4's closed beta for PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox One and Series.

Blizzard said, "We have decided to focus the Closed Beta on Diablo IV’s end-game offerings for a few reasons. The full story of Lilith’s return to Sanctuary is not something we would like to spoil prior to release—players will experience a post-campaign Sanctuary during the Closed End Game Beta."

Blizzard added, "To achieve this, we’re collecting community feedback early so that it may be integrated into Diablo IV prior to launch. Players who are selected to participate in the Closed End Game Beta will have the ability to provide feedback between bouts of cutting down demons through an in-game feedback tool."

Blizzard will be making the selection of who will be playing for the closed beta for Diablo 4 and those who makes it to the cut will receive an email invite. The same blog post also contains the instructions on how to be eligible for the test.

Diablo 4 is a role-playing game that will see Lilith, daughter of the Lord of Hatred, returning to the Sanctuary. Diablo 4 will also be more player-friendly with its open-world map and non-linear campaign wherein three of the five customizable classes have already been announced.

Diablo 4 is currently under development for PC, Xbox One and PS4. There is no confirmation yet whether there would be PS5 or Xbox Series X/S versions.
