First revealed a few months ago, Capcom finally revealed the complete details of the Street Fighter 6 and Spy x Family Code: White collaboration, which begins today, January 9, 2024.

This collab was first unveiled with a special poster in the middle of 2023. Last month, Capcom shared a new trailer to hype up the special crossover, and it featured an anime short by Wit Studio.

Finally, the collaboration is now live, just in time as the movie is still screening in Japanese cinemas.

Yor and Loid Forger Arrive in Street Fighter 6 as Avatar Costumes

The highlight of December’s trailer was the special anime short that featured Yor Forger's face-off against Chun-Li. Because of this, fans hoped that the collab would feature Yor as a guest character, or at least as a character skin.

Capcom revealed that the collab will bring neither. Instead, the highlight of this collab is the two avatar costumes based on Yor and Loid Forger.

With these, players can transform their Avatars in the battle hub to look like Yor or Loid. To be specific, the costumes feature Yor in her signature black Thorn Princess outfit. Meanwhile, Loid wears his green suit.

For Spy x Family fans who are curious about Street Fighter 6 because of the collab, this new fighting game by Capcom features a Battle Hub where players can socialize and interact.

Players also have Avatars they can customize in the Battle Hub. Plus, players can participate in Battle Hub matches where they can play as their Avatars, with movesets based on certain characters.

Spy x Family Code: White and Street Fighter Collab Brings More Special Items

The collab may not have a guest character or proper character skins, but it does feature a bunch of other in-game goodies aside from the Avatar costumes.

For starters, the collab comes with special items such as photo frames, stickers, and player titles. All of these feature Spy x Family-inspired designs featuring characters like Anya Forger.

Finally, the Battle Hub will also get a special look during the event, featuring Code: White design elements.

This new crossover is live beginning today until January 31, 2024. It is available for Street Fighter 6 players on all platforms.

Meanwhile, the new Spy x Family movie is still screening in Japanese cinemas now, with a North American release happening soon.
