We're still a year away from witnessing the Merc with a Mouth's highly anticipated arrival to the Marvel Cinematic Universe via Deadpool 3 but Ryan Reynolds has already been delivering the goods. The sequel is expected to begin production very soon and everyone involved in the project has been hyping it up since its official announcement back in September.

While we still don't know much about the sequel, which also features the triumphant return of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, the two have constantly been giving updates on social media, keeping the MCU fandom engaged and invested.

Last month, Deadpool 3's alleged plot leaked online, suggesting that the Phase Six flick will be centered on time travel and intervention from the Time Variance Authority, the secret organization that first made its debut in the Loki series. Now, Reynolds is offering new details about his third outing as the beloved anti-hero and it looks like he's down to spice things up a little bit for his long-awaited MCU debut.

In an interview with Deadline, Reynolds simply responded "we'll see" when asked about the possibility of Deadpool 3 having musical elements similar to DC's Joker: Folie à Deux. The actor followed it up with a joke as only Ryan Reynolds could, saying: "I don't know. I would have trouble singing as I'm gargling his blood [laughs]. No, we'll see."

Of course, given the unpredictability of Wade Wilson and his seemingly endless shenanigans, it's safe to say that anything can happen in Deadpool 3 and yes, that includes a full-blown musical number from him and Logan. Could you imagine if a sequence like that happens with Deadpool pulling a reference from The Greatest Showman? That would be hilarious.

Deadpool 3 is currently slated for release on November 8, 2024.
