Deadpool 3 isn't coming out until November next year but the film is already a highly anticipated one given that it will now be produced under Marvel Studios and it marks the return of Hugh Jackman in one of his most beloved roles, Wolverine.

Speaking with The Guardian, Hugh Jackman revealed what he felt when people to return as Wolverine despite claiming that he has already retired his claws in Logan, "I wasn't tortured by it. When people would ask me – including Ryan, every five seconds – I was like: 'I'm done.'"

Jackman hilariously says that this is the very reason why he wanted to return as Wolverine in Deadpool 3, "I just wanted to do it and I felt it in my gut... I get to punch the sh*t out of Ryan Reynolds every day."

Over the years, Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds have been sparking some made-up fights online, even having pranks on each other, and everyone saw their friendship flourish in the most hilarious ways, to the point of bashing each other's achievements as a joke between them.

Previous reports reveal that Deadpool 3 would focus on a big road trip adventure with Wolverine and the Merc With A Mouth where they would surely get annoyed with each other, a blast on the clash between the two near-immortal characters of Marvel.

Deadpool 3 is said to be told in a Rashomon style of narrative where the same story will be told through the perspective of the different characters, and it would most probably be told by Deadpool and Wolverine themselves, plus some comedy and action in the mix, of course.

Shawn Levy will be sitting as the director of Deadpool 3 and he previously worked with Reynolds on The Free Guy and The Adam Project. Writer Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick will be returning as the writers of Deadpool 3 after they did the first two Deadpool movies.

Deadpool 3 is slated for a theatrical release on November 8, 2024.
