Marvel Studios recently dropped a new teaser for the much-awaited return of Chris Hemsworth as Thor in Thor: Love and Thunder. But aside from seeing what the sequel movie has to offer, some can’t help but notice the 38-year-old actor’s physique.

With that said, what preparations does Chris Hemsworth do to perfectly achieve the incredible body of the God of Thunder in Thor: Love and Thunder? Thankfully, he shares his secret.

Chris Hemsworth's Diet To Beautiful Body

Luke Zocchi has been the Australian star's trainer. He told Page Six the actor is seriously taking the shape he gets into.

"It's phenomenal," he said. However, achieving a body like that is not an easy feat.

He goes through a rigorous process before he finally attains his body goals. Thankfully, they have now come up with ways to do it.

Zocchi and Chris Hemsworth have been friends since they were eight and he knows "consistency, hard work and eating the right food" are the keys to a healthy and muscular body.

So when they prepare for a movie like Thor: Love and Thunder, Liam Hemsworth's brother has to eat a lot of food to fuel his body.

“He eats, like, six to eight meals a day," Zocchi revealed.

“We’ve kind of got a structure," he continued. "He found if he eats a really big meal he, like, feels too heavy, so they’re 450-calorie meals broken up into the eight."

So, he has to eat every two hours and get 450 calories each meal.

For his bigger meals, Chris Hemsworth usually eats steak, chicken and fish or sweet potato with white rice. For the smaller meals, he will have protein shakes in between.

With the help of a chef, Zocchi makes sure Elsa Pataky's husband eats at the right time while filming.

Chris Hemsworth's Rigorous Workout

Maintaining Chris Hemsworth's calorie intake is not the only work he has to do to achieve Thor's body. It comes with consistent and rigorous training.

With his height of six-foot-three, he needs to work harder to burn the thousands of calories needed to build muscle mass.

“It’s just heavy weight lifting, training at least once a day, sometimes twice a day,” Zocchi continued. "It’s normally an intense, heavy workout. But we’re normally done within an hour because we’ve just pushed him that hard over that hour.”

Aside from weight training, Chris Hemsworth also mixes up his routine and does boxing, HIIT training and other forms of body fitness.

Alternatively, his stunt double, Bobby Holland Hanton, who has been in his 13 movies, added they have tried and taken the best parts of several different styles.

“I think the main thing is trying to find that happy medium, that balance to give you, you know, the best chance possible to achieve what we need to achieve on each film," he explained.

Thor: Love and Thunder is set to be out on July 22.
