Marvel crossovers are nothing new considering that we often see them in the comic books. However, crossovers in the Marvel Cinematic Universe have been few and far between. But is it possible that we'll get to see two Asian MCU superheroes working together soon? New photos shared by Chloe Bennet confirm that she has met Simu Liu and fans are hoping this means a major crossover is happening soon!
Chloe Bennet shared the new images on her official Twitter account and they feature the Agents of SHIELD actress with the Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings star. Check it out below.
Interestingly, the half-Chinese Bennet also added a cheeky caption reminding fans that she is the first Asian MCU superhero. After all, her version of Quake is also half-Chinese and half-Inhuman. With that in mind, it's really cool to see Bennet with Liu in the photos.
Needless to say, the post had fans hoping that the two actors might be working together on a new project that would feature both Quake and Shang-Chi. However, it is still unclear if Bennet and Liu are collaborating on a film or TV show right now or if the pictures were taken for a different reason. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
For now, there haven't been any news on whether Quake or the other characters from Agents of SHIELD will be brought back into the MCU. However, fans are hoping that we haven't seen the last of Daisy Johnson and her companions.
Simu Liu is already expected to reprise his role as Shang-Chi in a possible sequel to the 2021 film with Destin Daniel Cretton returning as writer and director. However, details about the second movie have not yet been revealed.
