There's no denying that Elizabeth Olsen has become one of the hottest stars in Hollywood and her growing popularity also makes Scarlet Witch one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's hottest commodities. Speaking of the Harbinger of Chaos, she is jokingly being attached to an incident somewhere in the province of China that is currently sparking widespread media attention.

China's Zhoushan city experienced a "strange" (no pun intended) phenomenon when the skies suddenly turned blood red over the weekend, creating an apocalypse-like scenario. The incident happened last May 8 and naturally caused panic among citizens but according to local authorities, it was only the result of solar activity and nothing more.

Meanwhile, as the news of Zhoushan's red sky reaches mainstream attention, Marvel fans couldn't help but compare it to the events that took place in both WandaVision and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness where Wanda makes use of the Hex.

On Twitter, MCU diehards hilariously blamed Wanda Maximoff and her chaos magic for creating the eerie occurrence. Interestingly enough, Multiverse of Madness is banned in China which made the reactions even more hysterical. Check out some of them below:

Meanwhile, the closing moments of Doctor Strange 2 seemingly cast doubt on Wanda's return to the MCU and while it may be possible that she's actually dead, I don't think Kevin Feige will let the opportunity pass for her to interact with the mutants now that they're on their way to the franchise.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is screening in cinemas.
