Chainsaw Man Wins Harvey Award for Best Manga for 2nd Year in a Row

Chainsaw Man is well on its way to becoming truly legendary. The manga just won Best Manga at the Harvey Awards this year, marking another major victory for Tatsuki Fujimoto for the second year in a row!

Back in 2021, Chainsaw Man won Best Manga at the Harvey Awards. It was an awesome victory for Tatsuki Fujimoto, who was understandably delighted about the recognition.

"Thank you for the insanely awesome award! It's the best award of any awards that exist in America! I consider this crude manga of mine unbefitting of any award, but I plan to continue packing it full of all the things that I love. If you ever happen to be handing out awards again, hit me up! Thank you very much!" Fujimoto stated.

Well, it looks like the love for Chainsaw Man has not faded in the past year. This year, Harvey Awards announced that Chainsaw Man has once again been chosen as Best Manga of the year (via Twitter). The manga was up against Blue Lock, Cat + Gamer, Red Flowers, Spy x Family, and Blood on the Tracks.

This is certainly great news considering that Chainsaw Man has been gaining popularity since the manga was released. With that in mind, we're hoping that the franchise continues to be successful in the future.

The Chainsaw Man manga recently returned with its second part which introduced a new protagonist alongside Denji. In addition to that, the anime is set to premiere next week.

Chainsaw Man is based on the manga by Tatsuki Fujimoto and will star Kikunosuke Toya as Denji, Tomori Kusunoki as Makima, Shogo Sakata as Aki Hayakawa, Fairouz Ai as Power, and Kenjiro Tsuda as Captain Kishibe. The anime is set to premiere at midnight on Wednesday, October 12, 2022.
