Chainsaw Man Episode 10 is finally out and fans are understandably hyped up after the arrival of Kishibe. After all, the Public Safety Devil Hunter from Division 1 didn't waste time in training his new students. However, his anime debut also caused Kento Nanami from Jujutsu Kaisen to trend on social media as people recognized Kenjiro Tsuda's voice.
Chainsaw Man Episode 10 Introduces Kenjiro Tsuda as Kishibe
In Chainsaw Man Episode 10, Denji and Power don't have time to tend to the injured Aki Hayakawa or mourn the dead members of Division 4 as they are called by Makima. The urgency is due to the tragedy faced by Public Safety and Makima wants to make sure both of them are trained by the best candidate so she takes them to meet Kishibe.
Interestingly, Kishibe asks Denji and Power a few questions and declares that their nonchalance towards the other Devil Hunters' deaths gave them the perfect score. He then agrees to train them and sends Makima away. That's when he pretends to hug the two but actually chokes them, breaking their necks.
Kishibe's reasoning is that he wants to train Denji and Power to be strong enough to defeat him since he is the strongest Devil Hunter. This leads to a lengthy training session where he repeatedly defeats the two.
Although this isn't Kishibe's first appearance in the Chainsaw Man anime (he appeared briefly in a flashback in Episode 5), his larger role has fans celebrating the character's return and loving how he sounds so similar to Jujutsu Kaisen's Kento Nanami.
It's understandable why people are making the connection. Both Kishibe and Nanami are voiced by Kenjiro Tsuda, and they have similar qualities. Needless to say, both are awesome characters and we're glad that Tsuda has brought them both to life.
