Captain America: Civil War End Credits Scene Revealed

Warning: Obviously, this article contains spoilers forCaptain America: Civil War, specifically the end credits scene. If you don't want to know what happens in that scene, better look away now.

Captain America: Civil War may be hitting U.S. cinemas a week from now, but the film had already been released in several countries overseas. This means people are already talking about it and maybe even pirating it. Because of this, we now know what will happen to the Marvel Cinematic Universe after the film closes.

Here it goes...

The Captain America: Civil War post credits scene revolves around Tom Holland's Spider-Man. We'll find Peter Parker in his room playing with his web shooters (made by Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark) while talking to Marisa Tomei's Aunt May. As Peter messes with Tony's design, one of the shooters start emitting a red light so of course Peter has to hide it from Aunt May, who at the moment is asking him about a black eye. Peter tells his aunt he got the injury from a guy named Steve from Brooklyn (this should be obvious).

During the conversation, Peter gets the chance to put the red light on the ceiling and he gets a better picture of this light, which is the image of the classic Spider-Man logo that is, as noted by ComicBookMovie.com, looks like it's on some kind of computer interface.

The screen then fades to black then the words "Spider-Man Will Return" show.

Despite Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and Doctor Strange being released earlier than Spider-Man: Homecoming, it looks like all eyes will be on Spidey in the next film that would deal with the aftermath of Captain America: Civil War.

If you're worried this revelation spoiled too much end credits for you, just remember that the Russo brothers previously teased as much as three post credits scenes after the movie.

Captain America: Civil War hits theaters on May 6.
