Tom Holland Reveals The Avenger He Wants To See in Spider-Man: Homecoming

So far, I've been hearing a lot of great things about Tom Holland's performance as Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War, so fans will most likely be hyped to see Spider-Man: Homecoming next year after seeing Marvel's blockbuster on May. We already know that Robert Downey Jr. has been confirmed to be in Tom Holland's first Spider-Man film, but will we see other Marvel superheroes show up in the Jon Watts-directed film?

MTV caught up with Tom Holland, and asked which Avenger he'd like to see in Homecoming, and of course, he mentioned Iron Man, but he's not the only one he wants to see in the upcoming film.

"If I could have any Avenger show up in my movie...I really like Iron Man, he's obviously my favorite, um, but I'd like Cap to show up at some point. I think that would be really cool if he did, but um, but they're in the process of writing it so I really have no idea."

Synopsis:

Marvel's "Captain America: Civil War" finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark's surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability."

Captain America: Civil War is set to release on May 5, 2016; Spider-Man: Homecoming hits theaters on July 7, 2017.
