Captain America 4 Photos Reveal First Look at Harrison Ford as Thunderbolt Ross

Captain America: Brave New World has released the official first-look photos at the MCU film that gave fans an early glimpse at Harrison Ford as Thunderbolt Ross.

The legendary actor is making his MCU debut in Sam Wilson's first solo movie as he is taking over the role of Thunderbolt Ross from the late William Hurt. The character will be shown as the new President of the United States.

There have been rumors for the past several months that Ross will transform into the Red Hulk during the film, but Marvel Studios has not made any confirmation yet.

Thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we have our official first-look photos at Captain America: Brave New World including a preview of Ford's taking over the role of Thunderbolt Ross.

One of the photos showed Anthony Mackie's Sam Wilson holding the Captain America shield.

The other photo showed Sam meeting with Ford's President Ross, who no longer has a mustache, unlike the Hurt version.

Several minutes of footage from the film was also shown during Disney's CinemaCon presentation that featured Ross asking Sam to reform the Avengers and Isaiah Bradley attempting to attack Ross during an event.

"This movie is a clear reset. It really reestablishes the idea of what this universe is and what this universe is going to be," Mackie told Entertainment Weekly about the film.

"I think with these movies, you're getting a clear, new branding of what Marvel is headed towards the same way they did with Captain America: The Winter Soldier."

While the photos didn't show any major spoilers, it is an exciting tease nonetheless for many fans and they should be expecting more promotional material in the coming months.

Captain America: Brave New World is set to arrive in theaters on February 14, 2025.
