Camilla Parker-Bowles Endeared Herself To Royal Fans In Recent Years
Express journalist Jennifer Selway had nothing but positive things to say about Prince Charles’ wife, who just celebrated her 75th birthday.
“She is, with the Queen's blessing, to be Queen Consort when Charles is King. Not many people wake up on their 75th birthday with the prospect of such a huge transformation to come. Yet there is no doubt that she will adapt to the role with her usual quiet good humor,” she wrote.

Before her relationship with Prince Charles became public, Camilla lived a fairly quiet life. But she soon became an object of scandal and disapproval due to her affair with the future king of Britain.
“For years, nobody imagined that their relationship would ever be acknowledged, let alone that they would marry. But hey ho, they have now been married for 17 years. And without fuss or fanfare, Camilla has eased into the nation's heart… One of the reasons I like Camilla is that she is the happy ever after story we all crave. Earlier this year, the queen released a statement saying that she hoped Camilla would be styled as queen consort when the time comes. It seems that the monarch felt the need to reveal her true feelings for her daughter-in-law known because there were previous reports that she would be styled as princess consort.
“When, in the fullness of time, my son Charles becomes King, I know you will give him and his wife Camilla the same support that you have given me. And it is my sincere wish that, when that time comes, Camilla will be known as Queen Consort as she continues her own loyal service,” the queen said (via Marie Claire).
