During an interview, royal expert Victoria Arbiter talked about Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles’ relationship. She said that the Duchess of Cornwall’s unwavering support helped Prince Charles have a more relaxed approach to his role. Additionally, Camilla’s steadfast presence always cheers Prince Charles up.
“Down-to-earth, unassuming, and prone to fits of giggles, Camilla's warmth and keen sense of fun have arguably helped endear her to a new legion of royal fans and few would disagree that her devotion to Charles has been the making of Britain's future King,” Arbiter said (via Express).
In 2017, a source close to Prince Charles and Camilla told The Telegraph that they are a match made in heaven.
“You must never forget it is a real love match. He has changed hugely because he is at ease with himself. And he is at ease entirely because of her,” the source said.

Camilla Parker Bowles Praised For Helping Prince Charles Become A Better Version Of Himself
During his interview with Hello! magazine, royal biographer Penny Junor said that he thinks Camilla is responsible for eliciting positive changes in Prince Charles. He described the future king as a quite morose character, but after years of being with Camilla, he became a much happier man and he’s also more confident.
Two years ago, Harper’s Bazaar also described the Duchess of Cornwall as a force for positive change.
A source also told Vanity Fair that Camilla made such a huge difference in Prince Charles’ life. And the royal couple is always laughing and chatting and they also have great affection and humor between them.
“I think he had a closer relationship to Camilla than practically anybody. He really, really loved her. They had so much in common that their brains kind of work in the same way. I guess he didn’t meet anyone else who quite matched up to her,” Junor said (via Cheat Sheet).
