Britney Spears just responded to her son Jayden Federline’s recent interview, where the latter seemingly sided with his dad, Kevin Federline, as well as his grandparents, Jamie and Lynne Spears.
Britney Spears Responded To Son Jayden Federline’s Interview
In a two-minute video that she posted on her social media account, Britney Spears cried foul over some of the things her 15-year-old son said. The “Toxic” singer also questioned the statement that she keeps hearing about the people in her family wanting her to get better.
“I can totally understand why my family would have a problem with my doing my own thing… maybe because I never have. ‘I hope she gets better. I will pray for her.’ Pray for what? So I can keep working so I can pay off mom’s legal fees or her house? Do you want me to get better so I can give your dad 40,000 a month? Or the reason behind you guys deciding to be painful is because it’s over in 2 years and you don’t get anything?” Spears said (via Radar Online).

Britney Spears Claimed Her Sons Didn’t Want To Spend Time With Her
Spears also recalled the times when she asked if she could spend more time with her sons. And when she did, they immediately called Federline. And during moments wherein her sons would visit her, they would only spend time with her for a few hours, and they would leave early.
“I didn’t do anything and I know I’m not perfect... but the love I have given you. It saddens me that not one of you has valued me as a person. Honestly, my dad needs to be in jail for the rest of his life. As I said, God would not have let this happen to me. I don’t believe in god anymore because of the way my children and my family have treated me. There is nothing to believe in anymore. I’m an atheist y’all,” she said.
Kevin Federline Defended Jayden Federline For Speaking Out Against Britney Spears
Federline, who was also part of the recent interview that featured his son, explained why Jayden decided to go public with his feelings about their family’s ordeal.
“I spent the better part of my adult life turning the other cheek in response to attacks on me. When our children are attacked, I found the need to set the record straight to be overwhelming. I want my sons to have the closest to a normal life that they can possibly have. It will make them better people. They see so they know if they really want to get away, they know how to get away,” he said (via Hollywood Life).
During a previous interview, Jayden said that he believes his issues with his mom can 100 percent be fixed. However, it’s going to take some time and so much effort for it to happen.
“I 100% think this can be fixed. It’s just going to take a lot of time and effort. I just want her to get better mentally. When she gets better I really want to see her again,” he said.
